Carrier Docs Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

In short: Carrier Docs is a paperwork-submission tool. It does not require an account or login. A user provides a driver name and location, may provide a Pro / Aljex number, selects or photographs paperwork, and submits it to the office handling that paperwork.

Information the app processes

When paperwork is submitted, Carrier Docs processes:

What the app does not require

Carrier Docs does not require a user account, password, phone number, GPS location, contact list, advertising identifier, or access to internal dispatch, accounting, rate, or analytics information.

Camera and photo-library access

Camera access is used only when the user chooses to photograph paperwork. Photo-library access is used only when the user chooses existing paperwork images. The app does not scan or upload other photos automatically.

Local storage and failed submissions

To prevent paperwork from being lost when a connection fails, Carrier Docs may keep the entered driver name, selected location, optional Pro number, paperwork images, and random submission identifiers in private browser or app storage on that device. A successful submission clears the active local draft. If receipt cannot be confirmed, a user-triggered retry is sent as a new, linked addition; it does not overwrite or delete paperwork that may already have reached the office.

How submitted information is used

Submitted information is used for load-document processing, including organizing paperwork by location, matching paperwork to loads when possible, reviewing unmatched submissions, maintaining business records, and correcting paperwork attachments when needed. Carrier Docs does not contain advertising or behavioral-tracking features.

Storage and access

Submitted images and associated submission details are stored in private application systems and are intended to be accessible only through authorized internal business systems. Carrier Docs itself cannot browse other submissions or internal load data.

Rate-limit identifier

The installation identifier is randomly generated and is not a phone number, username, advertising ID, or driver identity. The intake service uses it only for abuse-rate limiting.

Retention

Submitted paperwork may be retained as an operational or business record according to applicable recordkeeping practices and needs. Removing an item from an office inbox does not necessarily mean the underlying business record is immediately destroyed.

Security

Carrier Docs submits paperwork through dedicated intake services. The app does not receive direct database or storage credentials and does not provide public access to internal operational data.

Questions

For questions about a paperwork submission or this privacy policy, contact the office or dispatch contact associated with the load.
